“Dalton” is a really fun gelding with a great personality! He’s gentle, sound, well-bred & is everybody’s friend. He’s been used outside, pen roped extensively, roped the sled and is lightly started out of the box. He’s got a nice handle. Dalton is athletic with a BIG stop & has a ton of natural rate and cow sense. He would make an outstanding heel or breakaway horse!

The arena stuff:
Dalton is a big stopper! He slides every time. It’s very easy and natural for him. He also lopes cute circles and is the most natural lead changer that’s ever come through my program. We’ve pen roped on him a lot and have lightly started him out of the box, where he’s quiet and straightforward. Dalton is gentle and easy to ride.
The outside stuff:
Dalton is very smart with his feet! He’s worked in some steep country and knows how to safely use himself. He’s great in the rocks. He crosses water, mud, snow, and ice and is very reliable in all terrain. Dalton has gathered and sorted and roped outside. He knows what a hard day’s work is. He is sound with great feet whether shod or barefoot.
