Lot #4 – Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale
2018 Bay Gelding
Leitachic x Boom In The Night x Night Deposit Chex
Smart Deposits is a gorgeous 15hh 2018 gelding. He’s a smooth-strided, beautiful mover and his unique blaze really turns heads. Ronnie is an athlete with the potential to be a serious competitor, and he’s also a really fun horse to have around. I’ve ridden him bareback, dove off his back into lakes and rivers, and generally enjoyed his company.
To learn more about Ronnie, call Lisa at (208) 495-4045. We’re located in Adrian, OR.

The arena stuff:
Ronnie is a big, natural stopper. He’s also got a great turnaround, easy lead changes, and is a pretty mover. He’s good over poles and logs, has outstanding speed control, and is simple to guide wherever you need him to go. He’s been pen roped on, goes down the fence, has some cutting training, and shows a LOT of cow. Ronnie has been shown at one AQHA show and received his first point in the Open Ranch Riding. I’ve been riding him straight up in the bridle, but he still feels great in a snaffle.

The outside stuff:
Ronnie has been outside both as a trail horse and as a ranch horse and knows where to put his feet in rocks, mud, deadfall, and anything you might point him at. He’s been on pack trips as well as big gathers. He’s got a big walk and a smooth, country-covering long trot that makes him a pleasure to get work done on.

The good citizen stuff:
Ronnie is good with other horses in the trailer and in the pasture. He’s very easy to catch (see above!). He’s 100% sound, good to shoe, up to date on teeth, shots, and de-wormer. He’s been hauled all over the West and is great on the road. I even took him to a 4000 person event, where people who had never touched a horse got to pet him, and he was a complete gentleman. Ronnie does have a small blue spot in his right eye from a mishap with a piece of wire. It received the absolute best care possible and healed beautifully with no loss of vision.
